FEATURED MENTORS

Mark GaryMark Gary currently works as a director and director of photography for television commercials for clients such as Sprite, Wrigley, Sarah Lee, and Unilever. He has shot in a variety of studio and location situations as well as in many formats including Super 8, 16mm, 35mm, DVCAM, and high definition 24P video.
Mark has directed and worked as director of photography for a number of feature films, and has created several award-winning music videos and short films over the past years.

 

Martin PittsMartin Pitts is a director of documentary and live network television.
He is a member of both the Directors Guild of America, the Cinematographers Guild and the Writers and Directors Unit of the Actors Studio. Martin’s teaching credits include courses at UCLA, the University of Miami (Florida) and workshops for USC and the American Film Institute. He has also served as a judge for the Student Academy Awards and for the Cable Ace Awards.

Diploma Program in Filmmaking

The Diploma Program in Filmmaking focuses on advanced topics in filmmaking.

Organized into five nine-week terms, the program offers advanced studies in Directing, Cinematography and Sound Design. Course electives to choose from may include Television
Students can also choose course electives which can include Television Production, Music Video Production and Advanced Screenwriting and will work on several group projects including an individual final thesis.

The Diploma program is organized into five nine-week terms.
