Picture of Rick RobinsonRick Robinson has worked in the Hollywood motion picture industry for over 20 years. He has received an Emmy for Outstanding Technical Direction/Camera/Video for a Miniseries and has numerous credits, more than 20 television shows and 30 feature films, , including Doogie Howser, M.D. and Star Trek – The Next Generation. He has also worked on countless commercials, music videos and documentaries.
Additionally, Rick has worked with many successful artists including Madonna, Cher, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Alan Jackson, Paula Abdul, Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson.

 

Picture of Elizabeth HansenElizabeth Hansen is an EMMY-nominated screenwriter who has written for countless feature and short films, television, corporate videos, documentaries, musicals and theatre plays.
Elizabeth holds an MFA from the American Film Institute Center for Advanced Film and Television Studies, has won the prestigious Writer’s Guild of America Award, was a finalist for the Humanitas Prize for Excellence in Children’s Television programming, and has been awarded two Crystal Awards for excellence in corporate video writing, as well as a Telly Award for her work with the Foundation for a Better Life.

Certificate Program in Filmmaking

The Certificate Program in Filmmaking is designed to cover all basics of filmmaking.

Organized into two nine-week terms the program icludes courses in Cinematography, Directing, Producing, Screenwriting, Cinematography, Sound Production and Editing.
Students who participate in the program will complete a short MOS film and work on several production projects.

By the end of this program. students have developed an ideal foundation to help them become working professionals in the filmmaking industry.

The Certificate program is organized into two nine-week terms and covers the following topics:
