Alex Murphy’s professional acting career in film, television and theater has spanned both the United States and Europe. He has been involved in productions such as Lou Gehrig Did Not Die Of Cancer, Dopes and Fresh Meat at the Ensemble Studio Theatre in New York; “Things that Should Have Been Said” at the West Bank Theatre; and Buck Fever and White Boys at the Wesbeth Theatre Center.
Alex’s work in U.S. film and television includes One Life To Live, All My Children, Madman and Guts; his European movies and shows include Kiler, Mlode Wilki, Success and Awkwarium.
Musical Performance Workshop
The Musical Performance Workshop is an intensive course that allows students to focus on song performance through fusing the arts of acting and singing.
Students who attend this workshop will work on the development of all aspects of the musical production.

Acting Residency Program
The three-week Acting Residency Program allows students to further hone their acting skills. In addition to studying selected acting course, students will also participate in actual student film projects.
At the end of the program, students will leave with their own acting reel.

The Acting for Camera Program is an intensive curriculum dedicated to training actors in different disciplines: Acting, Movement and Voice.
The program exposes students to various styles of acting that focus on technique and discipline. Students progress at their own rate as they incorporate different theories and applications of moviemaking into the creation of their video portfolios.
The Acting for Camera Program also offers independent study alternatives.
Certificate Program in Acting for the Camera
The four-month Certificate Program in Acting for the Camera is divided into two nine-week terms.
Each term requires intensive training in Acting, Movement and Voice, and students participate in both public performance and student film projects.
